Ahmad Borhani is a A.A; B.A. holder from Tehran and Mashhad Universities, Iran. He is a Composer, Conductor, and an expert Persian music instructor. He was born in 1945, Kashmar, Iran. He has been a music instructor since 1969{ a previous member of Mashhad University, Center of the Development of Children and Young Adults, Iranian National TV(Mashhad Center), Ministry of Art(Mashhad District). Borhani is a maestro in the Santur . He also plays all other Persian Traditional Music Instruments including Tar. Tonbak. Daff. Setar . Oud . Ney . Kamanche . He also teaches the vocal and instrumental Radiefes of Musa Maeroofi, Mahmood Karimi, Abdollah Davami plus the old time Persian music theory including Sharhe Aladvar(MARAGHI). Borhani's primary knowledge in music notation and Radief was learned from Gholamhosein Zahir Aldini who was one of the first students of Alinaghi Vaziri. Borhani has taught many students in Iran and US east coast. He has many remote(far away) Students in the NETaround the world too, which they study his etudes. He also established PNME in 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. The ensemble has a background of 15 years nonstop activities in performing music and it is known as the most organized and dependable group in it's category. There are 7 members in the Ensemble at the present time.
